Marco De la Cruz is a Dominican designer and developer who currently lives and works in New York City. Marco meticulously constructs user interfaces and designs user experiences for a variety of websites and mobile apps. His minimalist yet impactful work creates an effortless experience for any consumer.

Marco was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 1988. He studied drawing & painting throughout his youth and later received an Associate Degree in Fine Arts and an Associate Degree in Digital Design from Altos de Chavón in La Romana, D.R., in 2009 and 2010, respectively .While completing his degrees at Chavón, Marco developed a passion for technology which led him to receive a full scholarship to attend Parsons The New School for Design in New York City and received his BFA in Design & Technology from Parsons in 2012.

Marco has worked with a wide range of clients, companies and startups, including helloSmile as a web designer and video editor, Livestream as a Product and Mobile Designer and Timehop as a Product Designer. 

Currently, Marco works with INTURN as a Lead Designer.

He draws inspiration from such diverse sources as video games, Abstract Expressionist painting, Brutalist Design, Deconstructivist & Futurist architecture, 8-bit art and comic books. In his spare time, Marco enjoys bike-riding, Lego builds, pins, puns and barbecuing.
